Dr James Redmayne is a PGY4 doctor with an interest in Ophthalmology, currently working as a Non-training Ophthalmology Registrar at Nelson Hospital in New Zealand. James graduated from Griffith University in 2018, receiving the Griffith University Medal for Academic Excellence, before completing intern and resident years at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

James holds the title of Lecturer at Griffith University School of Medicine and is currently completing his Master of Medicine in Ophthalmic Science at the University of Sydney. James is also a published children’s book author, with his 2015 book “The Surfing Animals Alphabet” featured in Surfer magazine and over 10,000 copies in print.
