Gizem Ashraf

Dr Gizem Ashraf is a junior doctor at Monash Health in Melbourne and will be working as a resident at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital next year. She is completing her research Master’s at the Centre for Eye Research Australia and The University of Melbourne in ‘Multimodal Retinal Imaging in Alzheimer’s Disease’. Recently, she was awarded the James McBride White Medal in Ophthalmology for her work. Gizem also has a keen interest in medical education and has published a textbook for medical students and junior doctors.
