Amrita Dasgupta

An aspiring ophthalmologist, Amrita is a new medical graduate from the University of Sydney. Prior to completing her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney, she completed her undergraduate studies in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry at the University of Oxford. Amrita was awarded the 2016 Undergraduate Prize in Immunology by the British Society in Immunology for excellence in immunology. Amrita has previously presented at the 2022 Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Conference in Kuala Lumpur. 

In her freetime, Amrita is an classically-trained pianist and an amateur magician; she enjoys performing pieces from the baroque and romantic era.
