Brendon Lee will begin accredited training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in 2023. He is a current ophthalmic surgical assistant and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) candidate at the University of Sydney and Westmead Institute for Medical Research under the mentorship of A/Prof Chameen Samarawickrama. He is a recipient of The Cheng Lin Memorial Fund Scholarship and the University of Sydney Summer Research Scholarship Dean’s Prize, and his research has been featured on ABC Radio National and in editorials by Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology. He holds a Diploma in Performing Speech and Drama and has presented his research widely, including at The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
